Can I extend my mother's B2 visa after just start to apply her green card?

My mother's Form I-94 will expired in less than two months. She just started her application (I130, I485 etc.) for green card. If, for some reasons, any rejection for her application happens, she may not have enough time to resubmit her application. Can she apply for extension for her B2 (visitor) visa after she has started to apply for green card (but checks for I130/I385 payments have not been cashed)?

Once you applied for Greencard she is no longer on visitor visa. As per my understanding you don't need to extend her visitor visa.
