My Mom's B2 visa extension request is currently in process with USCIS (case received on Feb. 21st, 2017). We had had asked for her extension citing that she has relatives and childhood friends based in various parts of US and she would like to visit them during her current visit. My question here is whether it will be a problem if she will be allowed by airlines to travel as her I-94 has already expired on April 15th, 2017. Inquiring this as I am not sure whether airlines check I-94 date for travelers on B2 visa; especially after the recent travel regulations put in place.
