Here's my situation:
I've been living in NYC since september 2005 on a B2 visitor Visa. I got 6 months, and then i extended my visa to july 31, assuming that I was going to fly home to italy on july 12th. now my friends are gonna go to cancun and i would love to meet them there and stay until august 15th. the problem is that i HAVE to come back to nyc for one day to get my luggage since it's too much to bring it, and my flight home is new york-milan. I'm afraid that I'm not gonna be able to extentd again, (and if they're not gonna grant it i have to leave immediately as i just learned- that scares me......)
I couldn't come back on a visa waiver program? right? so to get the extension is essential. I'm only gonna ask for 17 days and I'll show them cancun tickets (would be leaving around july 7th) and hotel reservation.......
do you think that makes sense or should i save the money and fly home on july 12th?
