I applied for my Mother-in-law B2 extension on 1/4/18. I got the receipt number but it says 'Invalid receipt number' in the automated USCIS call as well as when I spoke to the customer representative when I called USCIS. This is as of 1/31. Her visa expires 3/1.
1) Did any one have any similar experience about the 'invalid receipt number '?
2) How long does it take typically to get the extension final decision?
