I-94 & visa extension related question

HI Immihelp

My mother got visa for 3 months from july 3rd to oct 2nd.But due to some family emergency she will be able to leave only at end of july,hence she will be able to stay only for 2 months.Is it possible for her to get an I-94 which grants her extra weeks of stay in USA?

WIll applying for visa extenion hamper her chances of coming to usa next time?

Yes.visa extension might effect the chances of her getting visa next time.Even if she gets extra weeks at port of Entry She has to follow the visa expiry date.
