I94 Extension approved. Parents left 2 days ago

My parents I-94 was till May 23.Applied for an extension in April. They had to leave on July 10th. When they left, they left with their old I-94's. The extension request was approved on July 13th. The new I-94's reached us on July 19th. Should I mail the new I-94's back to the INS ? Any information on this would be highly appreciated.
