B2 Visa Extension applied - no reply

I send in my mother-in-laws visa extension by certified mail about 1 week back from Suwanee in Georgia state. I had also attached a return receipt. The USPS website doesnt mention it as delivered till now ! and my $200 check is not cleared and neither did i receive the return receipt. Anyone knows how much time does it take ?

She has 10 yrs visa but her I94 is for 6months and it expires on Oct 3rd, 2006. Please advice me what should i do?
