To whom it may concern,
I am hosting a young girl in my home from Sweden and she currently has a visa that was issued for 3 month stay in the U.S. I would like her to have a drivers license if she is going to drive my car and was told from the DMV she would have to extend her visa. Her employer in Sweden informed her, he would hold her job open for another 6 months if she wanted to stay in the United States. My question is, how does she go about extending her Visa. Does she contact the American embassy or the Swedish embassy etc. or is there somewhere here she would contact. What papers would she require? thanks in advance for any info you can give me on this subject.
