Approval for Extension of B2 visa in 2 wks!

hello everybody,
just got approval for extension of visitors visa for my mom.surprisingly the fastest thing i have seen by USCIS.we applied on April 16 and got approval email on May 1.
before applying i did little search online but found very less information.most of the stuff is from 2005 and 2006,no recent threads.
anyways,going to postpone ticket her return ticket now.

could you tell me how did you apply for your mom's visa extension???

Question for Austin

You mentioned that you are going to extend the ticket now. Does that mean you submitted a copy of a ticket with her original return date and just told them you can change it or do you have to submit a ticket with new extention date of return?
Also did you write the letter of why you need an extention or did your mom? What did you use as financial support?
