HI there,
My mom is in the Philippines was fortunate to get a multiple entry visa (10 yrs) and sched to arrive here in the USA with me (daughter) on June 1, 2007 with a return ticket on November 1, 2007. However, since this is her first time visit in America and she wanted to experience christmas with snow, me and my husband will apply an extension on September 2007 before her I-94 stamped will expire say the immigration officer will give her till 6 months which is okay till november 1, 2007. Now, my questions are:
1. Is september 2007 2 mos at least before her 6 mos of stay here is enough to submit our application for extension to USCIS?
2. Is 90 days request is fine to put into the application? She has to stay here till february 28, 2008 for her to attend my son's (her grandson's) 1st birthday.
3. Anybody here was fortunate to be approved by the USCIS when you guys applied for an extension? What normally is/are the reason/s that you have to indicate to satisfy them and get an approval?
