I-94 expires one day before the travel date

My Parents in Laws are currently in the US on visitors visa. Their I-94 expires one day(11/13) before their return date(11/14). I tried to advance their tickets but tickets are not available for any dates from 10/16 to 11/13. What are the options do I have now ?

Send them back before 10/16 ?

Send them to Canada and from there to India?

Next time, book in advance maybe ?

usually a day is ok they will not trigger any bars... but an overzealous officer might object on reentry.

so it is your call they are not triggering any automatic bar.

To make sure that they face no problems ever you might want to spend $200 and extend their status for a day

I think that's a good idea.....send them to Canada on the day the I-94 expires and have them fly back home from there whenever the next available flight is.

It is better either to send them in advance or seek for extension.cANADA TRIP IS IS CUMBERSOME THAN SEEKING EXTENSION
