Based on your experiences, can you tell me what percentage of visa extension requests get approval? and what are the reasons that get visa extensions ?

Uh?

First: there is no such thing as a 'visa extension'. Even if you hold an H1 or L1 visa, "extending" the visa actually means "getting a new one"

Second: if you tell me the percentage of toads vs frogs in a normal, run-of-the-mill pond, I'll tell you the % of refusals vs approvals.

The truth is: most of the people that comes to this forum is the ones actually having problems getting a visa - so we have a very skewed view of the issue. We don't know how many people applies for a visa on a given day on any US consulate, and not all of them who get denied show up here, and those that got denied before and showed up here not always return to let the rest of us know they finally got it.
