B2 extension letter

Hi,
1.I am applying for visitor visa extension for my parents. I know they have to write a letter to immigration office with the reason for extension. Should they write two letters (one for father and one for mother) or one is enough for both of them?. I know it is enough to send one I-539 for both of them. Please clarify.
2.Is the visitor visa extension fee increased from $200 to $300 ?.

The new fee is $300

THe new fee is $300 as of July 30th so if you post mark your application after July 30th which it seems you will, then send a check for $300.
I am not sure about whether you write one letter or two. If you are sending it together I would only write one letter. I have a question for you? My aunt does not speak English and I am applying for her extension should I write it as if she wrote it or as if I am writing it for her since she obviously can't write it in English?
