Dear Sir/Madam,
I am looking to extend I 539 for my aunt who came here from India.
1)Could you please let me know what is the current fee to file the extension application?
2)You have mentioned on your website that it is good to send a proof of return plans (ticket). Currently her return ticket is for sep 20, but I want to extend her stay by about 3-4 months. Is it okay if I send a copy of the original ticket or do I need to send a new ticket with a new return date which would be 3-4 months later than sep 20? If I do that it would cost me 200$ to change her ticket and if she doesnt get an extension I will have to change her ticket back which would be another 200$. Please advise on what I should do.
