Hi,
My mother has a 10 year multiple entry visitor's visa. She came to the US in March 2007 to help me during the birth of my son. We applied for an extension of stay in August 2007. Unfortunately her application was rejected on the grounds that her reason for stay was too generic and there was not sufficient proof that she would return to India. My father is in India and she has every intention of returning, but we did not mention it in the letter.
My question is:
will this automatically cancel her B2 visitor's visa?
How soon can she return back to the US?
Is there any way to appeal this decision? The rejection letter does not indicate it.
Please we need help immediately!
