Hi all,
I used to study in the States for 4 years and went back to my country to work for my family for a year. I have been dated this guy who is my current husband for 3 years.
I came back here for my cousin's wedding on late April. 2007 and have 6 months of stay. After staying here for 2 months, my bf and I decided to get married. We went to the city hall for all the paper work; and in the meant time, I mistakenly purchased a cruise trip with my friend on December so I applied for extension visa of stay for 3 months and now still pending. The problem is my husband is applying for citizenship in July, 2007 (have to wait enough years and months) and it takes approximately 12-18months due to lots of applications before they raise the fees.
So what should i do now? should i go back to my country after the cruise trip and wait for my husband to sponsor me or keep staying here illegally?
Please give me some advices, this is the first time i have to deal with immigration law
