  • Visitor Visa Extension ?

I have applied for visitor visa extension in August for my parents. I still haven't got any reply . My parents already left the country, they overstayed for 2 months, their extesion is still in the process. In that case what do I need to do now ? Should I call Vermont center & ask to cancel their extension or should I just wait ?

I would really appreciate your help.

    Thanks & Regards !

Wait for the notice (Either denial or approval).

If denial, their visa is subject to 222(g) and will probably be voided/cancelled next time they attempt to return to the USA.

Even if there is a denial their 10 yrs visa won't get cancelled . Only they have to leave the country within 30 days.
      Somebody pl. clarify...

They have to leave before 30 days = so that they are not deportable.

They overstayed their I-94 + denied extension = visa subject to 222(g) and probable cancellation of 10 year visa.

        Two VERY different things.
