  • Question Visitor Visa Extension

    Hi,

At the port of entry, the officer denied visitor visa for 6 months and gave I-94 only for 1 month. Further he has written NO EOS/NO COS on the passport. Now, is there a possibility to extend the visa ? Will there be any implications in future by doing this ?

I think NO EOS means "no extension of stay". Not sure what COS stands for though.

I was reading some posts and noticed that we can apply for extension and can stay till we get acceptance/rejection letter. Can I still do it in my case ?

if you want to "kiss your visa good bye" then yes...

USCIS officer suspected that you would not return to your country, so he put no EOS (Extension of Stay) and no COS (Change of Status).

Which means any of those applications WILL BE DENIED.

You will be putting your visa in RISK, and may be denied entry next time you try to come to the USA.
