Visitor Visa Extension
Hi,
My mother was visiting us last year when we decided to apply for a Visitor Visa Extension with INS. We sent in the application and were waiting for their decision however three days BEFORE her I-94 expired she had to leave the US and go back to India for an emergency. We consecutively recieved a letter from INS stating that her Visa Extension had been regected. I have tried to call INS on several occasions to see if due to the rejection of her Visa Extension her 10-year multiple entry visitor visa has been cancelled or not, but did not get a satisfactory answer.
Could someone please help me answer this question.
