Hi,
My mother visited the US in Sept.2006 and left in March2007. She visited us again in Sept.2007 and has her I-94 valid until 3/17/2008. We are planning on applying for an extension for 6 months. I am 7 months pregnant and due in April.
My question is should I quote the reason that I am pregnant and need my mom's support during childbirth or would I jeopardize the chances of an extension approval. Should I just mention that she is yet to visit other places during spring/summer??.....Please advise.
Also, I have a citizenship interview scheduled for next week....should I apply for the extension before my interview or wait until the interview is done??
Or would it be better for her to leave the country before her I-94 expires and return back in a month??
..........Confused and worried........any advise would be greatly appreciated....!!
Thanks in advance!!
