question about extend the visitors visa

hi, my mom came to US for my family problems. she has her I-90 until march 30th. but we apply for extension for 3more months. we got the acknowledment letter from usci after 8days of applying. in that letter they said that they received my application and check. but we didn't know any information that she got extension or not. She has only 10days left. After 10days her I-90 will expires.
Now can she stay in US until she'll get her result(extension/denied)?

ext responses always take very long. Let me correct you , it is her I-94 and not an I-90. If she is denied and her I-94 has expired she will have 30 days to leave the country. If she does not leave in 30 days, her visa will be cancelled on next entry.
If she is denied ; she should save her boarding passes for US departure flight.
She may need to show them at next entry to prove the date of her departure.
