Re-entering US after Visitor Visa Extension denial

First, thanks for all the great information on this website and the discussion forums. It helped me with the Visitor visa interviews for both my parents and In-laws.

Here's my situation now.

My parents visited me last year and their visitor visa extension was denied in Dec 2007 and they left within the given 30 day period. The original I-94 was valid till mid Oct 2007 and they both have a 10 year multiple entry US Visa.
Now, i want to bring my mom back in May 2008.

Is there any restriction in the timeframe before which one can come back to the US after the visitor visa extension denial? In this case, i am trying to bring my mom back within 5 months after her return.

Also, there is info on the website about 10 year visa being cancelled at the port of entry if you overstayed the last time. Is it still the case, if they had left within the given 30 days?

It appears that your mother is trying to live (perhaps babysit) in the US. They overstayed from Oct 07, until Jan 08 and now you want her to return in May 08.

If they have not revoked her visa, she is likely to receive a very limited stay. If you attempt to extend that stay, it will likely be denied. The fact that she is attempting to re-enter so soon after a denial of an extension will not assure the border officer of her intentions.

You are really taking a risk. Your parents should spend more time in their fome country than in US. Assuming they were here for 9 months, your mother should plan a visit no earlier tha Oct/Nov 08. I think your plan is extremely suspicious.

You should abide by the terms of the VISITORS visa. No parent reasonably VISITS for the length of time you mention.

Was your mom able to come to US with the same VISA in MAY 2008. I also have a similar situation with my parents VISA.Their extension was denied in 2006, and I am willing to bring them here in August.Please update

What is the similar situation? Did they overstay the I-94?
