Long term extension?

Hi,
I am a LPR (green card) and would like to file I-539 for my mom's extension for stay in USA. she is 70 years old and has B2 visa.
My brother is also coming to US on L1 with his family. I wonder if both us can file affidavit to support her during her stay considering that she has been living with him as dependent.
Does anyone know or has managed to get extension for 2 or more years in such cases ?

Not possible. You are also risking the cancellation of the visitor visa forever by doing so.

The maximum amount of time a B1/B2 visa holder (VISITOR) can spend in the USA is 1 year. 6 months I-94 granted at the POE + a 6 month extension.

The visa your mom received is a visitor visa... how many visitors do you know that "visit" for 1 or 2 years? that is a violation of the terms of the visa. If you attempt an extension on those grounds she may lose her visa.

Did you not bother to read the USCIS website giving the rules for B2 visitor visas.

Your mother may visit she may not LIVE in the US. If she stays for 6 months and gets and extension for another 6 months, she should not return for another visit for at least another year. She must spend more time living at her home than visiting her children.

It is people who abuse B2 visas like you are suggesting that make it difficult to obtain visas for people who simply wish to visit and follow the rules.
