How many time I can ask for extension visa?

I came here and asked for extension of my B-2 visa. Before I got the answer from USCIS I went back to my home country. The extension was approved.

Now Im back in USA with the same visa and they gave me more 6 months.
Am I legible to apply for a extension again?

Bad idea, you can't just ask for an extension for the heck of it, you are risking losing your visa.

What is the purpose of your visits?

There is technically no "eligibility" here. If the situation warrants an extension they will give it to you, else asking for too many extensions may cause you to lose your original visa forever.

It all depends on the facts as per your situation.

Max stay in US is 1 year on a B2. You can extend only once per trip.

I came back to visit some schools because I want to change my status. I cant get in to school before 3 months, so seems like I need to ask for a extension, before I ask for change status...Im really upset, because I know I can lose my visa forever, and this is not good at all.
