Visitor Visa Extension (E-Filing)!!

Dear Everyone,

I am planning to file Extension of visitor visa for my mother . Can i file online the I-539 form ? Is it advisable or should i fill the forms manually and send ? If yes, then how/when should i send the supporting documents to uscis (if filing online) ? Pls suggest.
