URGENT:Applied for visitor visa extension..waiting for response

Hi,
I have applied for my mother's visitor visa extension,her I-94 expires on 27th feb 2009,if we dont hear soon from them,can she stay or will she have to leave,also if she goes to canada and comes back then will her I94 get extended?please reply

It depends. Flagpoling - Canada travel and return in other words will not work as CBP is well aware of this trick.

If she stays and extension gets denied, it voids the visa and getting another visa is tough.
