B2 Extension : Sponsor different

My elder brother was the sponsor for my parents visitor Visa. My Parents are here and we are extending their stay. Due to some (personal) reason he can not apply for extenssion, can I be the sponsor for my parents visa extension?

I have read all the post about reason/risk associated with extension and we have decided to take that risk.

This forum has been a great help and this is my first post. Thanks for all the great info and a truely great site.

It is recommended sponsor to apply for extension. My brother(sponsor) faced problem during GC because of his in-laws stay longer than i-94 date and extension was rejected.

It is totally case to case ...GOOD luck!!!
