My parents entered US with B2 visa on 10/14/03. The officer gave them almost six month stay in USA(4/11/04), at the same time he wrote 'No EOS/COS'(no extension of stay, no change of status') on the back of I-94 form.
Does this mean that my parents lose their right to apply for the extension? My understanding is that my parents are still legible to apply for the extension of B2 visa and as long as they fill the application 45 days before 4/11/04, they can stay in USA legally before they get reply from INS. If they are denied, how soon they have to leave USA?
