B1/B2 Extension

Hi,

Iam here on B2 visa for 6 months where my i94 validity expires end of sept 2009.
I would like to know what are my chances of extending my stay by going to canada and coming back to US. And plesae suggest if there any side effects by doing this.

Not possible as no new I94 is given.
