My parents are visiting US on their B-2 visa. They are here to attend my wedding in October.
Their passport will expire on March, 2010. According to their I-94, they can only stay till September, 2009 (6 months prior to their passport expiration date).
The Consulate refused to extend their passport because they are B-2 visitors. I am wondering whether they still can apply for B-2 extension so that they can attend my wedding.
They have already booked the return flight, which is in October, 2009. So we only need about one month extension.
