Pls respond Urget Visitor Visa Expired
Hi,
My In-laws visitors Visa expired (Oct 21 20009 per I94) and we applied for a 3-month extension in September 3rd week(received acknowledgement on Sep 28th). Still we haven't received any reply from USICS but my in-laws are wanting to go back to India since their health has not been good of late.
and tickets have been booked for Nov 17 09.
Now Iam afraid if they would be redmarked in passports and banned of next entry to U.S. due to overstay.
Please let us know if there is any way we can avoid this situation I mean in what way can we negotiate with port of departure officers here in U.S. so that they would not ban them of their next entry. It is to be noticed that the overstay has not been much not yet 1 month
Please help.......any suggestion appreciated.
Thanks in advance !
