Hi
I have some questions about visitor's visa. My in-laws have 10 years multiple-entry visa stamped (in 2002) in their passport. They came to US last year and stayed with us for 7 months.
They had 6 months visa but then we applied for visa extension well in time due to SARS and some personal reasons. But by the time INS requested more documents to decide on extension they already left. Now after almost a year we are planning to invite them again.
Q1. My concern is due to their stay beyond 6 months last time (also the first time), can their be any problems for them at the port of entry ( SFO) ??
Q2. Is it right that they don't need to do any thing with US Embassy in india ??
Q3. Do they need to show the papers only at port of entry ?
Any suggestion/ past experience are welcome.
Thanks
