I FILED VISITOR'S VISA EXTENSION WHEN WE ARE IN USA IN 1998 AND HAD DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE OF i-539 rECEIPT NOTICE AND FURTHER I HAD RECEIVED VISA EXTENSION/STATUS CHANGE APPROVAL NOTICE AS DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE(.)KINDLY LET ME KNOW WHETHER I HAVE TO SHOW ANY I-797 INS EXTENSION TO SHOW THAT MY EXTENSION LEGALLY WHEN I APPROACH CHENNAI COUNSULATE FOR TOURIST VISA NOW (.)MY TOURIST VISA WAS REFUSED THRICE UNDER 214(b)(.) KINDLY PROVIDE ME I HAVE TO PRODUCE ANY I-797 FOR MY EXTENDED LEGAL STAY EARLIER(.)

Kindly give information how to obtain I-797 when we have I-539 Approval notice (.) Please clarify in what way how both are different i.e I-539 Approval Notice and I-797 (.) From their experiences is there any body obtained I-797 when their visa is extended by I-539 Aproval Notice with revised I-94 (.)Kindly give their experiences/information in this regard (.)With best wishes

I-539 approval notice is same as I-797 (Actually any approval such as H1 visa, I-140 etc. also come as I-797)
