Can I travel on b2 for 3-4 months if I previously had h4 visa

I need to visit my spouse in USA for short period.earlier I had h4 visa which expired in last month.I am working in India hence don't want to apply for h4 as I don't want to quit my job.please help.

Yes, you can travel. However you'll be questioned at POE, be ready to support that you are not planning to stay longer hence not applying for H4 (your job letter/leave letter/payslips etc).
