What is he maximum duration for visitor visa extension? My brother has Parkinson’s and is a green card holder. However his wife lost her green card because she did not like in USA and stayed in India for 5 years. She is now on visit visa. She keeps coming and going back to India on visit visa. But 8 months ago my brother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and it is difficult for my other relatives to take care of him on a continuous basis. So my brother’s wife is now required to be in USA for more than 6 months at a time. Spousal visa takes almost 3 years but meanwhile is there anyway his wife can extend her visitor visa for 1 or 2 years to take care of my brother instead of having to go back every 6 month? What is the maximum length visitor visa extensions are granted?
