I-912, Request for Fee Waiver for B1/B2 Extension
Hello Immi folks - We have a situation where our parents i-94 is expiring on June 24th, 2020.
They are on Tourist B1/B2 Visa. They want to exit the country asap but due to covid there is NO flight until 1st week of July 2020.
It’s not worth to spend 1000 Bugs (Online) / 500 Via Mail just for 5 days. I also gone through the form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver. Whether they can come under this or do we have any other way?
Let say if the extension got denied , then would it return the money back ?
Lot of country I see there has been a waiver or grace period given due to this norm (flight unavailability) and that’s an only reason. I am sure even USA has this.
