B2 Visitor visa extension beyond 1yr due to Virus

Hi,
We had applied for 6month extension in april due to virus and we have not heard back from uscis yet.
Is it possible to extend another 6months until next may due to he virus situation?

Have you heard back from USCIS, did you get the initial extension approved? if so did the approval happen within 180 days of the original I94 expiration? Please share, even I am planning to extend for my mother. Thanks.
