Hi,
My parents applied for a visitor's visa in Pakistan. They have visited us twice before on a previous visa. On their last stay, I applied for extension of stay and got it approved. The extension was for six months. They stayed for 3 out of those six months.
Now they tried to apply for visa again. The visa officer refused to give them visa citing their extended stay. He also claimed that he had no proof that the stay was legal.
I can not find the approval letter that I had (this was in 2000). Is there a quick way of getting a duplicate of that letter or a confirmation in some other way that their stay was legal and approved.
