    Hello Immihelp

Thank u so much for your help in getting my parents their visitor visa.

My mother had been granted 10 years multiple visitor visa and she has
already come for 6 months last year.
This year she has booked her tickets to the USA from 23rd June to 20th
December. Unfortunately her total days of stay adds upto 181 days. She
will be reaching India on the 183 rd day.

    1) Will this cause a problem for her at the immigration counter at the airport?
Will she be denied the entry? Should she change her ticket dates?

    2) Will this pose a problem for her future visits?

Can u pls pls kindly answer these questions at the earliest so I can
    make the necessary changes.

    Thanking u in advance
    Manishanthi

6 months is an ambiguous requirement. Most inspection officers interpret it as (day-1) + (month+6). So she can in principle get I-94 up to Dec 22.
However, nothing is guaranteed. The officer may give her a shorter stay if he/she is not convinced about her itinerary. Most people manage to get 6 months though.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
