Visitor visa extension

I need ur help in extending visitor visa for my mother.

She came here on last december and her I-94 expires on june 1st. She have 10 year multiple entry VISA.
I am planning to apply for visa extension by 2 or 3 months.
If they deny the visa extension , will they cancel the 10 year's visa also ?

please advise.

yes, i heard from may people that in case the extension is denied then the 10 year becomes void and later on it may be very dofficult to get a visitor visa again, so i suggest you better not take a chance.
just an advice. immihelp will advice better.

Visitor visa

I am faced with a similar situation with my in laws. However when they applied for a new visa ( they have ten year multiple entry and their extension of stay was denied) the Madras consulate is telling them that they already have valid ten year visas and is refusing to grant them interviews. Any ideas if invalidity of visa is really true. Can u point towards any other website that may have this info.
