visa extension help needed!!

Hi friends

My I-94 expires on dec 27. I was thinking of extending my stay for 1.5 months more. But I have an immigration petition filed by uncle for my mother. Would it be a good idea to apply for this extension? Or should i just go back to India and come back in 2 months ?I have 10 yr multiple entry visa.
Please guide me through this. Thanks

If you are a beneficiary to an immigrant petition it will be difficult to obtain extensions.
In general there may be problems in returning even after approval.
