Issue with USCIS Receipt Number for e-filing

I e-filed Visitor Visa Extension for my parents 10 days before their I-95 expires. After completing E-Filing on USCIS site, it gave me a USCIS Receipt number . But I have'nt received any confirmation in my email with the Confirmation number. I also mailed the supporting documents to USCIS.

But when I check for the status of my application with the USCIS receipt number, it says receipt number doesn't exist.

I am doing it for the first.I am in a big time crunch. What should I do.Please help me.

You should also receive a paper receipt soon. Online status is sometimes wrong.
On final submission the system will generate a pdf confirmation along with copy of submitted form and information regarding sending supporting documents. Did you attach the first pages of that pdf with supporting documents?

After completion of the form , it gave me the USCIS receipt number along with the instructions like where should I send the supporting documents.

I submitteed the first page of the confirmation receipt along with the supporting documents.

But ,I did not receive a PDF generated receipt number and copy of the forum.
