Visitor Visa Extension

Hi!

My mother's here on 6months visitor visa which expires May 22nd. She got 10 yrs multiple visa. Because of my daughter's health condition, I would like to extend her visa. My daughter has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a neurogenic tumor in this Feb. She might need chemo in June. Is it good to mention the reason that the grandma wants to stay with her grand daughter? Or is it going to play against me just like it does when you say you are here for taking care of a newborn? I am planning on submitting a statement from my daughter's oncologist.



Can someone please advise.

As I have always said, tourist visa is for tourism.

She needs to extend her tourist visa because she is yet to many other tourist places in US.
