I arrived in the US on 21st January 2012. I had the ESTA payed and filled out a few weeks before that, but not including my arrival and departure date. On my passport it now says "Admitted" with the expiration date 18th April 2012. My flight home is mid-March. That doesn't seem to be noted anywhere though, unless they typed it into their system at some point, which I doubt since I never handed anyone that information. I guess they could have it otherwise. I didn't fill out that green form that was used before ESTA, where you normally also include your departure flight.
So I was wondering... has the rules changed in any way, or is it possible for me to stay until 18th April and just get another flight home?
Thank you!
PS. I am of course not talking about staying longer than the 3 months (18th April). I don't want to do anything the wrong way, I was just wondering if it was possible to stay that bit longer
