visitors visa extension denial and again revisit on the same b2 visa?

Hi, i have b2 visa stamped till 2017. I had visited once in 2008. I had filed extension of stay before 45 days of my I-94 getting over. I got the reply of extension denial after 4 and half months when my I-94 had already expired. I was given 30 days as grace period to depart from USA which i followed. after coming back to India i tried to contact US consulate mumbai and email them my visa page and passport number but till date i havent got any reply whether my b2 visa are still void or valid for reentry into USA. i personally visited US consulate but I got the reply as travel at your own risk. I also contact CBP on email as well as called them i got the reply as the visa can be used again and bring the papers of extension denial at the port of entry. I am planing to go back to USA after 3.5 years But i am still worried to use the same b2 visa. Any suggestions from the members.

As you were still physicall present in the U.S. when your extension was rejected, your multiple entry visa is now void. You must get new visa before traveling to the U.S.

Once your visa is rejected, there is no grace period for legal stay in the U.S. 30 days grace period is to voluntarily depart before they pick you up and throw you out of the U.S. (That is involuntary deportation, in nice terms) but in any case that stay is not legal.
