Visitor visa extension - ELIS or paper

Hi,

I am planning to apply for extension for my mother's visitor visa. I see that B2 extension can be done online through USCIS ELIS. Does anybody have any experience with applying through ELIS ?

What are the advantages/disadvantages of the ELIS online application as against applying by paper ? Any thoughts/recommendations welcome.

Even if you apply online, you have to still send the supporting documents by mail. Therefore, why not do everything by mail, all at once?

With USCIS ELIS, you can submit all evidences/documents online itself. I am talking about USCIS ELIS and not about USCIS e-filing (which is the older system I believe).

Hi, were you able to apply for the visitor visa extention in ELIS? I am also planning on applying visa extention for my parents, i am considering using ELIS. I would appreciate if you could reply to the thread, if you were able to apply in ELIS and are there issues if you had any.
