  • My mother (Age 59) coming to visiting US, having diabetes - which medical insurance?

My mother (Age 59) coming to visiting US, having diabetes but very much under control as per last reports well under the range of normal person with small amount of medication.
She would be here with me -5 months.
My preference would be with minimal co-pay, and very good network in St louis, MO.

What would be your suggestion for the same?
Does the insurance no insu buy also cover the travel insurance.

You can consider purchasing Atlas America insurance from https://www.insubuy.com/atlasamerica-insurance/

In order to cover during travel also, we recommend that you put the effective date one day in advance of the travel date.

If you have any other questions, please post them here or contact us at any time.

I am not sure what you mean by 'normal medical insurance'.

        Please clarify.

normal insurance would is like for normal people, without acute onset cover.

Will this create any issues while availing the medical insurance.

I will try to answer your question to the extend I understand.

If you have purchased the insurance which has acute onset of pre-existing conditions coverage, it will cover that according to the terms and conditions of the policy.

If you have purchased the insurance which does not cover acute onset of pre-existing conditions, it will cover new medical conditions, injuries or accidents that occur after the effective date of the policy.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
            Thanks & Regards
