65 yr old visitor, California

Hello,

I need to buy insurance for my mother coming tomorrow to visit me.

- she will stay approx. 6 months in California,
- $50-100k comprehensive coverage,
- deductible: I am thinking about bigger deductible to decrease the premium.

Please could you advise on the most optimal insurance? I was thinking about Atlas America, but they are not licensed in California. As far as I understand in the normal circumstances it does not matter, but what if something goes wrong? Maybe there is better insurance covering California visitors?

A particular company would be licensed in California only if they do local business of insuring US citizens and residents who live in California and they need coverage while they are in California.

However, your mother is not resident of California. Therefore, any company that is licensed in California will NOT give insurance to her.
