I am looking for coverage for my spouse (71 yrs of age) who will be residing in the US April/May 2015. He is currently on pill medication for Diabetes and I am looking for coverage for him until I can hopefully get re-hired by my current employer in the US. I realise it is a pre-existing condition but am a bit confused on this as coverage wise. If a pre-existing condition isnt covered does that mean they dont pay for meds, retinol screening etc? I am assuming we cant shop for Obamacare etc as it doesnt cover over 65 year olds? Sorry but all this is new to me now.

Unfortunately, we don't have any insurance plans that would cover any pre-existing conditions related expenses. Therefore, no coverage for anything related to diabetes, for example, in his case.
Please look at the bridge plan insurance at https://www.insubuy.com/bridge-plan-insurance/ It is meant specifically for the new immigrants to the US who don't qualify for Medicare. Therefore, you can purchase that plan for him unless he qualifies for any other domestic insurance or Medicare. Thanks & Regards
