I am looking for comprehensive coverage for my parents (Dad 64 and Mom 61). They will be visiting Virginia State for around 130 days starting later this month or Nov. They may return early also because of the harsh winters.
My dad is Diabetic and takes insulin. Other then that, he is fit. Mom has no pre-existing problem.
1. What Insurance amount should I be looking for considering the health care cost in USA ?
2. If the pre-existing conditions are covered and if yes, up to how much?
3. Should I buy Insurance form India only or from USA ?
4. Can you suggest some good insurance company and plans to choose from ?

where is the line drawn between "acute onset of pre-existing condition" and "routine chronic worsening of pre-existing condition" ?

1. Healthcare is very expensive in the US. Therefore, you should take the highest amount you possibly can take. Take at least $100,000 but preferably more.

Since it is heavy winter season i am looking for some health insurance plans.
